Please contact our office 310-373-6864. Most prescriptions can be refilled with a telephone call to your pharmacy. Please have your pharmacy contact information ready. Certain medications like opioid pain medications need a paper prescription to be filled that you will need to physically pick up. We can only refill these prescriptions during normal business hours (8AM-5PM Mon- Fri).
A Center of Excellence is otherwise known by its other designation: An Accredited Center. Hospitals that are accredited have to go through a rigorous inspection and reporting process by several national governing bodies: the ASMBS (American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery) and the ACS (American College of Surgeons). Along with specific equipment each hospital has to maintain a minimum number of bariatric/weight loss cases per year in order to maintain their standing.
